Truth

Truth

A Poem by Soren

Truth is light that can not be grasped
Air with no handles, briefly gasped
Just as light slips through your fingers
Warmth of vapor in your lungs so briefly lingers
To know the truth you must see all
In a crevasse's depths Veritas does fall
Into shadow's realm we can not see
Only where there's sun's glory
Shadows change through the day
As it moves along in its harlequin way

I love the rhythm, rhyme and easy flow of this sublime write, Soren. To know, to discover the real truth, not somebody's version of it, one has to explore the full depth of the deep and broken crack in the iceberg of words, because it slips into shadows which have no light and becomes very difficult to locate. Only where there is light will the shadows disappear as they do throughout the day as it moves along its masked and silent way, the truth becomes visible. With the passing of time all secrets are revealed! Wow! Powerful penning in this allegorical write, captivating and gripping. I enjoyed reading and thank you for sharing, Soren. Lovely work!
