A twisted taleA Poem by SorenBetrayal a serpent tail developing after birth it slowly grows until it shows venom under mirth Attacking the rear, a bite or whisper, lies hidden in disguise catching its prey where they lay with lies of surprise Coiled words catch trusting birds in their nest or as it flies viper cold, sheds skin of old, revealing new scales of treacherous lies the right, antidote for the bite, a serum of forgiveness An enlightened savior excuses the behavior escaping future sickness
