King of day queen of night

King of day queen of night

A Poem by Soren

The sun in rivers does run, to its sea on the ground
wetting all around, reflected echoes resound, yet not a sound is found
Currents of light pour morning to night, islands of shade drowned
An incoming tide won't be denied under rule of Helios crowned

From below shadows grow, dark hands reach to the sky
Out of a star challis sip, firm in Isis grip, drink moon dreams supply
Drunk in sleep, images creep evaporated light sun's sea dry
a tomb turned womb, sleep deep with the queen on high

Wow! What an amazing and very powerfully penned poem! You sketch a beautiful picture for your reader of the sun shining on the river as it runs to its love the sea to be united with it as the daylight turns to nighttime and shadows grow beneath the sky. The connection between the night sky and the earth below is like that of a hand hovering above the strings of a harp teasing the air with a secret sound and only you could create such a mystical bond, dear Soren. SO enjoyed reading and am very grateful to you for so kindly sharing with me this evening. Wishing you a very lovely evening and a magical new week ahead too...
