A drop

A drop

A Poem by Soren

Drop of water held together so cohesively
bonds of strength shattered by a fall
Droplets now cling adhesively
infinitesimally small

They slide down slopes joining together
forming new drops on their way
Drawn as if by a tether
group unity on display

Forming rivulets they grow as streams
joining others becoming a river
filling a lake now that teems
to ocean, original giver

Thanks Jacob for the read and comment so nice to have you come by.
From a drop of water formed from many little droplets which cling together as they slide down slopes and form new drops on their way as they grow into streams and together with others become a river and joins a lake which will lead them to become part of the ocean and in turn become the ocean. I love this beautifully penned poem about the strength and determination of a drop of water. I love the imagery painted in each line and how the poem is expressed also. Lovely work, dear Soren. So enjoyed reading and thank you for sharing, dear friend...
