Clouds in the air blown by the wind

Long before time began

And rainbow’s ends were pinned

In science, all is sadness

In the mind of a philosopher all is joy

In chaos there is madness

Thank you Emmajoy in my mind there is only one right interpretation to poems and that is of the reader. It might not be what the writer intended but the power of a poem is in the emotion it evokes and that is in the reader. So you are right. Thanks so much for the read my friend

It is so true that our beautiful world is built with tar and cement, steel and stone, but to my mind was necessary in order for mankind to progress, create jobs, give employment, have a healthy standard of living, education and a home for technology which we would find it difficult to be without in our present day world.
I agree that there is hope inbuilt into a poet's world of creativity together with a desire to uplift those who read their work, speak their truth and keep the world going 'round and 'round.
Excellent inking, Soren! So much said in so few words, so much to analyse, I have only reached the tip of the iceberg! Thank you for sharing...

Indeed! Integrity of the pristine land of God has been affected by industrial and civil advancements to a large extent, but it is a solace to know that Nature still retains a lot of her original sovereignty, with the rampantly insidious consequences of retrofitting nature being realized.
And the 'sadness of science' with its eternal incompleteness as you said is truly meaningful.
