Interesting take on light and dark implied in various fashions. Somewhere in there is - if not for light all we would "see" would be darkness, makes me wonder if darkness is able to be seen or is it just a complete absence of light and therefore absence of sight. Note on your Author's Note - Agree that these things can blind us to truth, but also without them I don't see ( no pun intended) how we could know error. -Yikes, I think I need a nap. - enjoy your work and the fact that it most often makes me think. carl

Yes, conditioning is a very scary thing as is the bias it can easily plant in a susceptible mind. Programming can indeed blind us to the truth, but only if we accept the information which is presented to us without question. We each have our own truth. It is different for each of us. We need to question everything which elders and others try to teach us from a very early age, once we are old enough to present our own points of view and decide for ourselves. My parents finished school in 6th class, they had no further education and they always believed in and looked up to those who were educated, taking in and agreeing with every word spoken as if they knew no better, but it was because they put anyone who had education up on a pedestal which they were unworthy of being on: Priests, Doctors, etc... Second and Third Level education made a huge difference and nothing was left unchallenged or accepted at face value, but questioned through and through and perhaps rejected at the end. An outstanding succinct allegorical gem! Well thought out, insightful, thought provoking, very engaging with captivating visual detail. Thank you for sharing, Soren...
