Nature god

It should be clear god doesn't interfere

shame, judge, punish or blame

is deaf to pleas, has no ear

impartial, all treated the same

Doesn't favor one over another

Is kind and accepts each as they are

Believer or not, everyone's a brother

Peaceful, doesn't sanction war

Doesn't interfere with free will

Is merciful, will not hate or berate

Won't intervene to save or kill

With patience will wait, shares their dinner plate

Never commands

Doesn't build a wall

Understands

Leaves the door unlocked for all

God is warm in a winter storm

in the summer to please a cool breeze

providing shade from the scorching sun

Gives rest to all when their day is done

I love this poem/prayer, Soren. It outlines exactly what I believe. We get the gift of life and free will, it is up to each of us to make that life a good life and if we don't make the right choices, we can always change them and with experience make better ones which will result in a better life, happy, content and peaceful. Especially fine last stanza...Yes, he does not interfere....we make our own breaks or consequences...
Man rewrote scriptures, rewrote the codes to live or die by...man sanctioned war.
Who the hell do we think we are...
