Cold rain

Cold rain

A Poem by Soren

Comes a winter storm

dark skies a cold wind

Night coming on

sleep in dreams sinned

Cold rain outside my door it falls inside my heart

It's frigid outside and in

The damp chills me to the marrow

warmth of fire so long it's been

A very poignant write which captures the lack of the warmth of love in life. The fire long gone out, the embers turned to ashes, the cold outside felt deep within the body. So many of us have had this experience in life. That warmth will always be missed and that all invasive cold and rain will always be felt in its place. Great write, Soren! Thank you for sharing...
