I once had a coat lined with dream's down

shoes woven of light beams

an iridescent blue butterfly gown

lightning sewn seams

nails painted in glittering night stars

stockings net web of spider

my ring melted rainbow jars

perfume fragrance angel trumpet cider

Flaming orange disco ball beams of fire

ignited shadows burn into dusty ash

All of infant dream's desire

dissolved in the blink of an eyelash

Dreams can have a lasting effect on us. When we wake up sometimes they accompany us through the day/night as we think about them. The subject within our dreams is never constant but ever changing. The desires we have in our dreams are melted away in the light of day.
