Aaaaawwww! What a very beautiful tribute to everybody's favourite animal: The dog! Loyal companion, knows when his Master/Mistress is feeling down and shows his empathy through staying close to them. Listens to all that his Master/Mistress says to him and knows by their tone of voice if they are happy, sad or even a little cross with him. Within his "shell of flesh" is a beating heart which is most forgiving. A dog is naturally curious and the most friendly creature one could ever meet. Oh, I love this beautiful poem, dear Soren. You have captured the personality of a dog so delightfully. I judge people to be nice or not nice by how they treat God's beautiful animals and will have absolutely nothing to do with anyone who is not filled with compassion and kindness to them. I love English Bulldogs! They are SO adorable and everytime I see one in a photograph, I wish that I could wrap my arms around him in a big HUG! So much said about our canine friends in this marvellous write! I love it and thank you for sharing, dear friend...
