[Poetic Beauty]

The beauty in art is where the piece itself make each person feel and how they perceive it. Everyone is different and will have a different emotional and mental thought. Art is all about perception!! Some are timeless and some never will be viewed. I love the thought process in this poem about art and what it is

I believe the we have to discriminate how each person feels about a piece of art. some like a painting with three scribbles on it and it is on display in a museum... others like something that is totally abstract using one color, still others prefer the old masters.... so in my view discrimination in art is very personal....many artists, like myself, may even paint over the original once it is dry....it just isn't perfect...your brain tells you when your masterpiece is what you expect it to be or not...and you may love it yet someone else dislikes it..... my interpretation!,

I am so against the desecration of art. It’s a complete no, no in my book. There are other ways of making your views known. Through the ballot box. We are having a spate of these lately. Mainly by spoiled so called well educated brats who have nothing better to do. As you can see dear Soren, I do not approve this behaviour but heartily approve the attention you have drawn to it in your wonderful poem. There is so much more I could say, but am limited for time. History should not be erased. It is there to learn by.

Thank you Chris so much for this interpretation. This is proof to me that things can be taken so many different ways, which was the original thought I had in creating this. Your vision turned on a light in a room that was not lit in my mind at the time. I thinking of creation and you of desecration. The title of the poem extends to things other than art and we ascribe value or lack thereof based upon our own views, this extends to people whether race, gender, education, monetary worth, or religious beliefs. What right do we have to judge or desecrate art or others? I so appreciate and value your comments.
