Apparently there hasn’t been a time in man’s history on Earth when there wasn’t a war going on somewhere. We are not a hospitable race so if you’re an outsider to any country you are classed as dispensable like North Korea, China, Russia to name a few where that little girl wouldn’t matter in the least.Pondering questions

Thanks so much for the review Andrew it is appreciated along with your comments.
To the flesh and laws of the flesh there are levels of evil. To the soul all sin is equally wicked. That God became flesh to save souls makes perfect sense then in that awareness. For He says, I looked and there was no one and none to uphold Me! So therefore, My own Arm brought salvation and My own fury sustained Me. The wrath of God is the righteous wrath of indignation, appalled at the sinfulness of man. I do not see inconsistencies but rather all things working together and connected, the dark and the light, the good and the evil. Sin makes it necessary that offenses occur and the animal nature of man. But I don't think "human nature" is exactly the pinnacle of what God would like His creation to aspire to. I enjoyed the read. It was quite thought invoking.

This poem was inspired by a passage for Dostoevsky ""Imagine that you are creating a fabric of human destiny with the object of making men happy in the end... but that it was essential and inevitable to torture to death only one tiny creature ... And to found that edifice on its unavenged tears: would you consent to be the architect on those conditions? Tell me, and tell me the truth!" I so appreciate your visit.

No, I don't think so. But there may be some that would. It depends upon morality more than reality. There were conscientious objectors serving in the armed forces who swore they'd never fire a shot...until someone shot at them which abruptly changed their stance from pacifist to self-preservationist. That depended more upon the reality than the morality at that moment.
Although a non religious person or at least not in the accepted dogma sense. I found the first part of this poem rather interesting. To answer the questions personally I don't think I would.
An innocent weighed against the one's alive today?
