Discarded

Discarded

A Poem by Soren

A worn out shoe, years of labor given,

a hole in its sole driven.

Now discarded, it lies in the trash,

a twisted tongue a broken lash.

................................. 👍
I have a hole in my sole right now for various reasons, but has nothing to do with shoes...
unless I am considering the frayed laces...worn so thin.
We may just snap soon.
