A white crow on black snow

A white crow on black snow

A Poem by Soren

A white crow on black snow, what eyes don't know

masking smile's, disguise a hungry child's eyes

A rose without a thorn, seeing praise without scorn

reassuring words, not underlying sighs

Journey or destination, which breeds satiation?

Tears gloss over loss of all one once possessed

Paradigm's shift, will one lift into creation

Not mad, sad or glad sensitivity the quest

Senses dulled, perceptions culled

form biased interpretations

We see, what we want it to be

overlooking important variations

I always taaught my students draw what you see not what you think you see. But sometimes you are quite correct we need that paradigm shift in our thinking. We should not overlook. Especially these days.
