Everything has a price

Some things are more important than the body

But what is more important than the soul?

A question even for moralists, tangled and knotty

when happiness and love are the goal

Not a question to put on the shelf

if you search deep within, you will find

the body or soul of one loved more than oneself

is all that comes to mind
