In dreams

In dreams

A Poem by Soren

On my pillow I slept while outside willows wept

Drifting in a dream, the storm outside went unseen

In the morning when I awoke, the willow at the roots had broke

It does no good to weep or grieve, from the willow, no more shade I'll receive

enjoyed the strong rhyme taking place here, the straight forward matter of fact " don't cry over spilled mile" sentiments. Conciseness was a good choice as well. thanks for the post - carl
