Eye of a madman

Eye of a madman

A Poem by Soren

Only through the eyes of insanity

can one see behind the mind of reality

A painted false face of vanity

covering the mass of humanity

Science another religion

fanatics spitting derision

at anyone with another vision

as open minded as the inquisition

Truth only a lie well disguised

A rotting rag patched, mended and revised

A gag and blindfold for the wise

Drifting smoke dissipates as it flies

What was yesterday is not today

notes must change for the music to play

These disjointed thoughts, how will they stay?

Gathered like falling droplets on a stormy day

I believe the mind of a madman is disjointed...bitter, angry, words that don't make sense, stream of consciousness.... it's very sad to see and hear this...but it happens and nobody wants to hear it, unless it all come together and makes sense....

even mad, our writing can make some sense...
if that rain of inspiration falls in one particular spot where it can coagulate bringing the words together.

Thank you Jacob I appreciate your comments deeply my friend
And here I just thought it was something I ate...wow, talk about a labyrinth of crooked lines and deserted alleyways. Man, you exploded with this one, I think I will climb back under the dining room table for a while, at least the crumbs seem normal.
