Luck

Luck

A Poem by Soren

A've been ta da gallows many a times

'ad da rope about ma neck

'ad it tightened for ma crimes

but da drop d'ey did check

Other times da rope broke

or da trap wouldn't open

Close enough for me ta choke

an even ta stop a hope'n

But it seems dat I always got's another chance

There's dose dat say ah's gots a lot a pluck

When da judge says ah's got's ta dance

Ah depends upon ma luck

So different from you Soren. I wonder what inspired this piece? He sure had some luck on his side. Trouble with luck is that it doesn’t usually last. Enjoyed the visit my friend.
