Killing a LadybugA Poem by SorenAsk yourself honestly have you ever thought of these things? You may say you do not believe but absolved by completion, what relief it brings
Do you step around a ladder? Do you feel uneasy if a mirror you break? Hesitate when going to step on a crack? Make a wish when blowing out the candles on a cake?
Do you say bless you when someone sneezes? Have you carried a rabbit's foot? Avoid the number 666? Ask not on the 13th floor to be put?
Do you have a lucky pair of pants or shirt? Have you ever your fingers crossed? Hang a horse shoe only pointing up? Tied three knots when something you've lost?
Made a wish on a falling star? Shook hands with your right when your left's as good As a host made a toast? Knocked on wood?
Most have done some of these things Superstition gives a sense of control reduced tension it brings Even when science we extol © 2023 SorenReviews
