Fear's enslavement

Fear's enslavement

A Poem by Soren

A traitor who will refuse, is a hero that ran

A coward with nothing to loose, becomes a brave man

Traders in pain that abuse, forgiveness does ban

Those empowered, who choose to save can

Courage only a token, now just awoken

With age whitened, fear vanished, resolve heightened

A word spoken, is not to be broken

Only those no longer frightened, can become enlightened

Your poem is a powerful reflection on the nature of courage and the transformative power of choice. The idea that a traitor who refuses can become a hero, or a coward can become brave, speaks to the idea that courage is not an innate quality, but a choice that we make in the face of fear and adversity. The line "traders in pain that abuse, forgiveness does ban" is particularly striking, capturing the idea that those who cause harm must be held accountable for their actions. The final stanza, with its emphasis on the importance of speaking truthfully and the transformative power of overcoming fear, is a powerful reminder of the role that courage can play in our lives. Overall, your poem is a beautiful and inspiring reflection on the human capacity for courage and transformation.
