Deja vu dreams

Deja vu dreams

A Poem by Soren

In hazes of soft slumber

I slip into another dimension,

whose permeable membrane

I can only penetrate in dreams,

awakening to an alternate reality,

activating forgotten, familiar, memories,

of things that never happened,

places that never were,

people I never knew,

in a time that never was

A proxy verisimilitude

more real than any daylight hours

with visions and emotions more vivid

than these now living

Memories so fixed

in my evolutionary foundation

that I trust them

beyond the actual occurrence of sensations

A reality so reliable and above suspicion

that it is hard wired into my consciousness

and is no less believable

than this, from which I speak

What lines and what poetry. Superb message of falling from conciousness.

Just lots of melatonin. Thanks for the review John.
I have never read a dream state described better. I know this feeling...the dream, I have no idea what it is about or who is in it but I do, somehow and it feels more real than any wide-eyed, daylight encounter. Really cool my friend.
