If there is only one world

One moon and one sun

Why so many flags unfurled

Each of us living under a different one?

Feelings of wellness I fear

Through blind eyes I see the invisible

Truth I hear through a deaf ear

Sensations of logic inexplicable

What is this happieness I show?

Veracity blinds and dialectics defends the illusion

Is it true happieness I don't know

Pain only a relative delusion?

I loved the first question the most here. We exist under different flags because that is all we have done always. Unity and oneness are strange concepts to us. Man has learnt to survive by competing and killing mostly. Perhaps, nature has programmed us that way but that's the root of pain and all the rest of our countless miseries.

Diversity is most interesting and welcome. Too much and it upsets the balance and the apple cart. It all makes sense, one world no borders etc until you try and put it in practice. Religion or lack of it can get in the way. An interesting post Soren.

Many good questions and thoughts in this one Soren. Though I believe some diversity is a good thing, most of this is completely carried away. At least we poets all seem to get along...I think.
