Words and questions

Words and questions

A Poem by Soren

There are words that should never be said

There are questions that never should be asked

They leave echos long after you're dead

Who's answers canker, your soul to blast

Tears shed

Teeth gnashed

In visions that have blead

Reverberations of the past

Dreams that have fled

Hopes that are dashed

a resounding yes to words that should never have been spoken .. words of anger ... words of ridicule .. words to vex another's souls and heart ... there is no going back from them .. as to questions asked ... makes me think of the old proverbial " .... where angels fear to tread" ... we will never be so smart .. never be so deep ... as to put the ocean in a hole in sand ... peace and health my friend! :)

I agree Soren. With all due disrespect to psychobabblers, who believe every feeling and grievance must be shared, it's BS! Somethings are best never said. Good write.

Thanks for the review JD. Yes like Pandora's box once let out words can not be taken back.
don't ask questions that will come back to haunt you; don't use words that will become evil in your past life...it will tear your soul apart; all the dreams and hopes will vanish...so be careful what you ask and what you say....a very true poem, and I'm sure it's happened to many of us...
Nice piece
