Your most welcome Soren . May you have outstanding year ahead
You have a knack for zeroing in on the human experience, Soren, it seems like my default-mode is something close to what you're describing ... not so much a feeling of panic, although I know that well enough, but an enduring moment-to-moment feeling that I should be doing something else, somewhere else. ...something like your excellent first line.

Anxiety and the holidays go together like ham and cheese, if you like that kind of thing. Though the right bread can be a great stress reliever...not really but it can make it all taste better.
Ok, sorry, that didn't work out like I had planned which does happen when we are stressed. I could feel this poem. Nicely done my friend.

Ahh yes, the many different feelings of panic. I can't say it's nice to have it spelled out so descriptively, but it is a very familiar. I know I personally have felt more than one of these, but I never have really stopped to think about all the different forms it can take. This made me take a moment and do that, and I guess now next time I feel my anxiety building I might take a moment and try to describe it and that will help a little bit. Worth a try at least, haha.
I also liked how it kind of had an indistinct rhythm to it, or at least it did when I read it. Thank you for sharing.

Anyone who has suffered from panic attacks will be able to relate to the contents of this write Soren. A desperate need to escape from what you aren’t even sure of and it can be terrifying. Well penned and so descriptive.
I really appreciate the line above. It has such superb imagery.
I relate your words to my own suffering from diffuse anxiety syndrome and the vague feeling of something terrible about to happen. It once resulted in a full blown panic attack for me.
The poem has such an impact and conveys the feeling of dread so completely.
