Tombs to dreams

Tombs to dreams

A Poem by Soren

Tomorrow is a lie

Don't put your trust in illusory dreams

Kiss yesterday goodbye

Don't spend your days in mists of memories

All we have is today

Don't let it escape from your clasp

Don't let it slip away

Hang on, cling, clutch, hold it tight in your grasp

Tomorrow remains estranged

The smoke of time by the whirlwind is carried

Sediments of years can't be rearranged

Don't exhume the dead, leave them buried

I agree Soren.
"Sediments of years can't be rearranged

Yesterday gone and hope today. We will do better. Great wisdom shared my friend.

You are welcome Soren.
Reminds me of a very old song, I don't know the title or who sings it but the chorus tagline was, "Let's forget about tomorrow for, tomorrow never comes." But I get the deeper message here as well, ignore the past, don't worry about the future, focus on today because no matter when it, it is always today. Very cool my friend.
