Mea Culpa

Mea Culpa

A Poem by Soren

I live my life in isolation

Each breath full of trepidation

Infinite in duration

Even lying next to you, I'm alone

To avoid devastation

I reside in hybernation

Each word an atheistic oblation

I grow cold to the very bone

Is it just the situation?

Or maybe habituation?

That results in hesitation.

Whichever, you lie there like a stone

Trying to talk of this frustration

Is more painful than castration

So the conversation

I postpone

I can honestly say that if it is more painful than castration...it definitely needs to be postponed. : ) This was cool Soren, a little dark and maybe a bit angry too. The rhymes were cool. I liked this
