I am all things

I am all things

A Poem by Soren

Each and every day, little pieces of me fall away, 300 million cells each minute die

Some fall to the ground, where by scavengers they're found, or sometimes they just lie

Blown away by the breeze, sometimes incorporated into trees, I become a part of every living thing

I'm part of germs, or even worms, it doesn't matter whether I be a beggar or a king

We all have a piece of each other, in this way my brother, we form a cosmic whole

Spread over the earth, we all have a new birth, part of an immortal, universal soul

So very deep and true. We truly are in all things even in the end. Excellent message and poem Soren. A truly enlightening point of view.

Thank you Carlos for taking your time to review and comment on this piece
Thanks Soren. As a child I would wonder how much of us remain after all that exfoliation, cell replacements, haircuts, nail trimming, and the like.... thoroughly enjoyed this poem! As has been said we are made of the same material as the stars.

Thank you Frederick for your review and comment it is deeply appreciated
Hi Soren,
Clever thoughts about how we are all connected.. I also think that energy connects all of us..but the mere thought 300 million cells connecting us, is quite something to think about.
Really enjoyed reading this...
