The death of Osiris

The death of Osiris

A Poem by Soren

Basking in the warmth of our relationship

I grew lazy, filled with drowsiness I napped

I did not notice the sun’s setting or waning rays

Awaking in the darkness, I shiver

unprepared for the cold of night

The shortness and the punctuated emotion are quite intensely satisfying to read.It reminded me of the confines of the box set by Set to lure Osiris into a coffin, which it really was... how sad to only be thrown in the dark cold waters of the Nile. Very moving piece. Thanks for sharing. Frederick
