I look back on the past like a child when the circus is over.

It is time to go home

yet the magic remains in the mind and pulls at me crying "just one more time."

I really like this brevity, especially the "just one more time". Sends me back to the swing park with my Dad many moons ago. All good things come to an end. Yes, there is longing here for what once was.
