SheepA Poem by SorenBlinded by preconception metaphysical, religion, or science Refusing to see the paradigm's deception On synchronicity, faith, or causation our reliance
There is no truth only what you see What tells you which government is best Why do you believe in authority? what is beautiful, what's the test?
what is good and what is bad what is right and what is wrong When to be happy when to be sad What is a good or bad song
who we should like and who we should hate You think that the idea is yours This, your ego may inflate But no it comes through other doors
Something you saw or something you heard a teacher a parent upon whom you depend Someone you trust, a written word the internet, the news, a friend
If pressed your opinion to defend or maintain Instead of give its source “everybody knows that” becomes your refrain Followed by: “you should know it too, of course” © 2022 Soren |
