6 Months Later

6 Months Later

A Poem by Kristen H

If I could go back 6 months ago and kiss you
again for the last time.
It wouldn't be what it was:
Short, in a hurry.
Unaware what would be happening later.
No.
I would make you never forget it.
I'd put everything into that kiss.
All of the love I felt for you.
All of the pain I kept inside.
I'd want you to feel like we were the only two
people in the room.
Because If I kissed you like that,
Maybe you wouldn't have left me.

Sometime wishes and hope is all we have.
"Because If I kissed you like that,
Maybe you wouldn't have left me."
Those lasting wishes to saved a love lost. Become story and poetry for us in old age. Old wisdom of the ancient writers. When a Poet loved you. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You told a story in very few words. You told a story that almost everyone can relate to, and as a reader that is exactly what I want to be able to do. Good job

Regret is damaging to the future, somethings are not meant be and we must benefit from our past mistakes and move on. Thank you for sharing this fine piece.

Insight.
