Five Months Later

Five Months Later

A Poem by Kristen H

Five months later and I can still feel your lips pressed against mine.

Five months later and my heart still flutters when you text me.

Five months later and i can still see you sitting in my car, singing along to the radio.

Five months later and you’re still the last person I think of when i fall asleep.

Five months later and I’m still in love with you.

Hard to forget love. I like the use of repetition. Five month or lifetime. True love is never forgotten. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
