...Sans Sight~

The ultimate paradox

My eyelashes hug each other..
Thoughts channelled to a
Different realm altogether..

The exalted strings of melody..
Approving floor of royalty..
Cheering me as i walk to its bosom..
I hold high the golden goblet of goals...
Acknowledging the enchanting roar...
Showering in mirage of success.

My eyes snap open!!
Reminding me of the reality.
The vandal cruelty..
With sly wolves
In sheep's clothing
With swords of love;
Doing back- stabbing.

In passionate pursuit;
I will reawaken my soul..
The most beautiful things
Of life,are unseen..
But to achieve them
We need to,be keen..

Dreams seen sans sight
Are worked on under cold daylight!!

Author's Note

Just before closing my eyes before sleep - this thought occured to me. We dream when we sleep - but we wake and pursue. Divine paradox.. ;) the best things are felt with close eyes but to pull back to reality we need to be conscious.

I love it how you respect the thoughts, and kind of meditational ways before sleep, how you describe, that your eyelashes hug each other, is most creative. A short but pretty dreamscape, into your world, but reality is knocking on the door, and we need to be allert, and awake... but oh how nice it is, to dream, and I do love it, I have 60/70% of my poetry made out of dreams, and I adore poets like yourself, who have poetry dream related... fantastic Sophy! will definitely come by for more.
