"Beauty is best when Lethal"

Intoxicating black eyes,
Attractively disheveled raven hair,
With an arrogant aquiline nose;
Matched with those sensuous lips..
Body with chiseled features
Paired with broad shoulders..
Clad like a knight- in- shining armour..
He strides towards her in Eden
As the air around him sizzles even...

She watches captivated,eyeing the Serpent..
He entices her as,nobody ever did..
Her entire body shivers with intense need..
Golden hair shines in the light..
Blue gaze brightens at his sight.
Gifted with luscious curves and her foot so light..
She damps her plump lips in wild anticipation.

Grabbing her waist,
He meets her eager gaze..
She is tempted to taste,
The forbidden fruit,
Unable to resist the temptation
She captures his mouth with fierce passion!!

Her tongue strikes his twice
Eve's chastity cuts through
Devil's shrewd malice..
Being ignorant she was the divine antidote..
He cuts down his own root..
Call her two- faced Janus!!
She protected the whole universe,
From the curse on Adam.

Author's Note

The temptress turned the tables.. The poem came to my mind when i read genesis.." what if- Eve had been loyal to God".. Hope you enjoy it.

Yes indeed I see where you're coming from, though the man cuts down the vine, it's the woman who sharpens the axe !

A cerebral piece and again, I admire how you portray, compare & contrast the overall complexities between the male & female gender! Just one thing though, I hope you're not a man-hater ?

When I read' as you like it ' in school, to explain one metaphor this story of Adam and Eve was given......but there are many things new I read in this one and really you told it so beautifully.......very well presented and character of Eve is striking one and here also......really marvellous.....
