Good Things Come in Threes

Good Things Come in Threes

A Poem by Petrichor

Your lovely eyes bring light into the world
Your hands comfort mine when all is amiss
You breathe in stardust and leave cosmos swirled
In this oceanic abyss

A voice like none other; lucious and bright
My dove with wings so gentle so vernal
When Aeolus blows you hold me skin tight
My love for you is always eternal

The empty void above looks down about us
With envy in its atramentous soul
Dancing stars for eyes, crying out, and thus
We go by midnight leaving the black hole

I love you deeper than the salty seas
But I wil share for good things come in threes
