---'s POVA Chapter by ♢Sophia♢
They really thought they could escape me. Just because they found bodied outside doesn't mean there won't be any inside. All it takes is one of them to wander off and boom, there go the lights. The blonde-haired girl had marched off and I made a mental note of where she was before darkness took over. A couple of kids screamed but the chaperones calmed them down. Careful to make no sound I walk through the halls, holding a speaker. I could hear the girl's voice in one of the rooms, the girls cabin.
"Guys? How'd the power go out?" There's a clicking noise from a flashlight but no light illuminates the room. I walk in the room, closing the door slightly. The clicking noise stops as she realizes I'm here. Thankfully, the room is big enough to not let her see who I am yet. She curses, moving to the back of the room. I put my speaker on the floor and click the button on top. "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter starts playing, all upbeat until the lyrics start, distorted and creepy. The sound of thunder drowns out the noise of the song, making more kids in the other room scream. Better get this over with before they find out. Something crashes near my head, she's throwing things at me. "G-go away! Leave me alone! Please!" I smile, pulling my knife out and beginning to walk toward her outline. There are sounds of shuffling and more stuff is thrown at me. When a flashlight hits me square in the chest, I lose patience. "Stop throwing things and I might let you live." The sounds of movement stop, she finally realizes who it is. I lunge, stabbing the knife clean through her chest. "Surprise." She makes a gurgling noise before crumpling to the floor in a pool of dark red blood. I hear the door creak open. "Gwen, are you-" Gwen's mom's eyes widen at the sight of me and her dead daughter lying on the floor. I take a step toward her but flinch as her camera flashes in my face. She turns and runs but before she can take five steps, I raise my hand and throw the knife. It hits her in the head, killing her before she even hits the floor. I walk calmly toward her. Her phone lies a few feet away and I crush it with the heel of my shoe. The screen shatters and goes black, erasing the image with my face on it.
