Sweet & Low Responds to My Complaint Letter!

Sweet & Low responds! I was beginning to believe my little flash short fell on deaf ears as I hadn't any email back from them since sending out my comical adventures of fruity flavors taunting and tormenting me in my dreams about the elusive and prized Grape! Well, today I received a package from UPS with TWO POUNDS of the prized Grape flavored candy! A letter from Customer Service accompanied the candy. Below is the letter:

 

Dear Stacilynn Brown,

Recently we received your email in regards to our Fruit Flavor Candies, thank you for writing and bringing this to our attention. Our manufacturing facility is completely automated and sometimes this can occur.

 

Enclosed, please find a large bag of the prized Grape flavor candy you were missing from your previous purchases. I hope by sending this bag it will put your nightmares to rest and you can enjoy peaceful dreams of our flavors frolicking together in sugar free land.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, your concerns have been forwarded to our Quality Assurance Department for investigation and correction. I hope that you will continue to purchase Sweet & Low Sugar Free Candy in the future.

Below is the original post of my creative and humorous complaint letter to Sweet & Low if you missed it the first time...

 

Yesterday I drove way out of my way to an Albertson's Grocery Store at the corner of 43rd Ave. and Bell here in Phoenix to purchase two bags of Sweet n Low Fruit Flavor sugar-free hard candy. Mind you, I was craving your Grape flavor and this is the only store I've found so far that carries these candies that you make. When I arrived home and opened the first bag all I found to my surprise was Strawberry and Lemon, not even a lone Orange and certainly not the prized Grape! Ok, I figured this can happen... Orange and Grape weren't paying attention during assembly and missed their ride.... So I opened bag number two.. . To my dismay, once again there was NO Grape, but 3 Oranges did make it on this trip!

Now I'll grant you, Lemon and Strawberry are superb flavors not to be found in the shadows of any other flavors out there in sugar-free land, but I was insatiable for the GRAPE!

 

Last night I suffered terrible nightmares about the elusive Grape flavored sugar-free hard candy... Strawberry and Lemon were taunting and teasing me throughout my dreams.... Challenging me to go back to Albertson's and purchase even more packages of Sweet n Low Fruit Flavored Hard Candy in hopes of finding at least one lone Grape...

 

Considering the price per package of $1.59 this is at least within the realm of possibilities compared to the other sugar-free products available, but how will my ego suffer if I find myself opening package after package of candies to only find Strawberry and Lemon in this lot?

 

Instead I felt as though I should contact Sweet & Low themselves and request their input on this issue.

oh my god. that is amazing!! i think i peed on myself (sexy i know)
my friend bought langers pomegranate juice and felt something slimy in her mouth, and spit it out, then she dumped the whole bottle out and there were about 7-8 slimy strands of goop in her juice!

she wrote a myspace blog about this and an attorney showed up at her house to apologize and give her free juice for life!! it turns out the slimy things were MOLD!

it was a strain that only grows in pomegranate juice and can cause severe food poisoning! anyways .. that story reminded me of that and i had to share!!

long story short, always check your juice for toxic mold strands, and your sweet and low candies for grape flavors!! (which are the best btw)
