Pondering (Everything)

Pondering (Everything)

A Poem by Thus Said Broken

Hey little girl, what are you doing on your front porch all alone?

Just sitting there, in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth, back and forth.

You look lost, deep in thought, what is it that troubles you so much?

What are you thinking?

I’d like to know.

Maybe I can be of some help.

Like you, I too have questions and am seeking answers.

Maybe some of our worries are the same.

Maybe we can help each other.

Hey little girl, would you like some company?

I see an extra chair on your front porch.

I also like to rock back and forth.

This is a brilliant piece. I felt as if I was in the mind of the narrator. Good job!
