Humanity

A Poem by Theo Rojas
"

Revolution

"
my tongue speaks what the mind thinks
my blood runs cold like jedi mind tricks,
flash flicks the eyes winks
living life in a fast pace as a blind prick
easily contented yet easily get tired,
easily get hired yet easily get fired,
the world gets fucked up twice as time passes
people revolts with masks protection for the gasses
thrown by them officers with sticks and batons
caskets ready for the death of those who would have won
but never had the justice for each of their losses
why are there servants and why are there bosses
i thought life was equal but i guess i was wrong
yes life is short but the suffering stays long
natures law is strong but we are not beasts
we don't feast for human flesh like corpses in movies
we are human beings the highest of all creation
but we act like chimps just for acceleration
for power for wealth for greatness and  for fame
to climb that ladder of stardom and create a name
we humans are lame we always act without thinking
we never turn our backs when we see someone falling
we always think i and never think us
we always think mine and never think ours
