Reaper

Reaper

A Poem by Theo Rojas

Hey reaper, when will you knock on my door?
when will you thrust your scythe and leave me lying on the floor?
life starts to bore me, bother me, makes me confuse
maybe its time you and me have a chit chat together with some booze

Hey reaper, they say your the angel of death, on which side do you stand?
heaven or hell? man, i really cant understand
but still sometimes i'm eager & excited to meet you
tried a lot of stuff form the past trying to reach you

i fear you dear reaper, but i know you're not a threat to me
you're neither friend or foe but you know whats best for me
i don't want to die young don't want my life to end
but when that day comes please let me your dear friend.
