What if heroes never died?

What if heroes never died?

A Poem by Sonia Stokes

Wouldn’t the world be amazing if heroes never died?
And what if babies never cried,
And people never lied?
I wish that this fantasy were quite real.
I can’t even imagine how that would feel.
I wish people didn’t have to fight for their next meal.
I want the world to be the way Gandhi intend,
I want people to not have to depend,
What this world needs is a mend.
