Much Too MuchA Poem by SongsungblueFrom an early collection of works, 1989-1999. This poem is from the first book of 3, entitled "Conception"Much too much.
Going for too much too soon after too long.
I was lonley wanting a lover for company alone.
And now there are cracks in the violet colors that surround me as light covers my form like silk.
Holes in my arms again, Time and Space cannot hold my attention.
"Don't talk to me unless you have something to say", she said.
And now I am drowning to remember everything I said in return.
Drowning in the still air of this room, I think This Time -
This Time I'll do it Right. © 2008 Songsungblue |
