Full MoonA Poem by SongsungblueA short poem on a full moonThe wolves are out tonight and the moon, overfull is spilling lunacy in drops -
Pounding in my head, ears ringing with the knowledge that the wolves are out tonight.
Forest dark, steel girded. Trees stir, and break the path below whispering of vengeance but the wolves are out tonight
Thoughts bend to twist and beat hard upon my lips. Unknown and dark as wolves in tales of warning.
Would I walk there through streets unfamiliar their meanings left startled as I turn from prey to predator.
The wolves are out tonight.
