seeing all these writers fighting this epidemic of plagiarism has spurred me to join and add my own small word to this battle:)

a little reminder 

from a little word

it still shows in my finder

a memory to be heard

wrath spurred from vile action

you who had no right

you with no talent fraction

i will fight with all my might

you stole what was not yours

and gained your recompense 

this revolution you sparked at its core

your stench we'll drench with incense

inspired by two of the great writers on here, frieda, and quinfinn:) lets continue and spark this revolution till a raging inferno has come and burnt out this epidemic of plagiarism that has invaded this safe haven we have all come to love:)

One great thing about WC is that all of your work has a copyright date, so if someone tries to steal it and the date on which they used it showed up later than yours, you can easily prove it was you who originally wrote it. Another reason to love WC! But I know what you mean about the plagiarism, people who try that are just ugh! Like, really, you can't think of anything better?

Good stuff marie. Rhymed poetry is all. I am unused to increasing the length of each line and not sure that it works for me. The content is good and puts the emotions and thoughts across well. If you are 15 then you have a great future ahead (providing that you find where your spell checker is)(intro not the poem)

The war against plagiarism, this was a beautiful piece. Strong and powerful Marie! I personally can't stand when people use others work and claim it as their own. It is a terrible thing! When you write, your words should come from your heart, your own imagination. Taking credit for someone else's hard work is just a sinful thing to do in my opinion and it really bothers me that there are people out there that do that and don't feel bad about it at all. Thank you for writing this piece Marie!

I am in this full-force swing of a strike with you all against such acts. It simply brings my blood to a boil. Not only do people steal poems, but artwork, quotes, and so, so much more. We must bring such a crime to its knees, or at least try.
