on forever

derp....

the raspy breath that beckons

behind its darkest hood

it calls out to my aching soul

as if there ever was good

they tell me that none can escape his call

that once he comes your gone

but here i sit still waiting 

for the light to come

does this mean that i'm unwanted

behind those pearly gates?

or is my time yet unfinished

another fate await?

he points afar to a shadow

where i see a little girl

she seems so lost inside the wall

she has built around her masks all

years of toil 

years of pain

she slowly begins to uncoil

as she starts to feel again

and as i look back into the past 

i wonder have i reached her at long last?

the farther i go the more intricate the lie

that she builds to hide her cry

she says that yes i know her now

and can see into her vast brow

but is this it? 

the end she knit

or yet another mask behind the wall

will she laugh as i fall yet again?

but i guess this is the end

it is true, but i know, that it goes on forever
