little girl

little girl

A Poem by marie
"

.....how do i explain this?.......

"

do you see this little girl?

crying in her sleep

hiding all the cuts she caused

and pushing back her dreams

do you see this little girl?

soaked in others blood

crying as they slip away

laughing as they come

do you see this little girl?

all she knows is pain

holding a knife up to herself

holding one to you

no one listens

when she says run

not till she's begun her fun

not till its to late

she watches them

so sad

so glad

as they fall into eternal sleep

she watches them

carved so prettily

painted such a vibrant red

as they draw their final breathe

oh run away

she calls so sweetly

and not one ever heads

pulled by her smile, not her evil deeds

oh run away

they listen now

as she brings their blood

as they hear their screams

little girl don't be afraid

more will always come

another one to play all day

another one to love

oh little girl sing your song

let them know your pain

little girl know your loved

as they slip away
