It Takes 30 Times To Break a HabitA Story by SongHabits are hard to break, and it's not just an excuseTake One: The first time she calls him by his name directly was after a long time. It wasn't easy too, the word 'Oniichan' threatened to spill from her fingertips, but she held it back. This is a habit she needs to break.
Take Two: The second time she calls him by his name, it's to try and get use to the foreign word. She's used it before, but not in the longest time. Half a year. It's also a test to see how he would react to it. He says he cares, but it feels like he doesn't. She should know he wouldn't say anything about not being called her big brother anymore. He never says a lot of things.
Take Three: The third time she calls him by his username is when she tells him 'Good Night'. It's right after she reassures him her feelings are real and she's not confused.
Take Four: The fourth time is when she immediatly greets him when he comes online. For a moment she forgets all about that night. Just for a moment though. The next few hours are spent in awkward silence. She misses the old days, but she shouldn't complain 'cos she's the one who screwed it all up.
Take Five: The fifth time she called him by his name was when he was lagging, but they needed his attention. She was so close to entering in 'Oniichan' this time. It hurt to know how close they were yet in reality they were miles away from eachother.
Take Six: This time she didn't bother to say his name. Just greeted him with a loud 'Hello' and glomp. It hurt her heart to be such good friends, but he rejected her feelings. They were all drifiting apart from eachother.
Take Seven: "'No Oniichan?'" The question made her wince. Now this was something that she couldn't answer. She couldn't lie to him either. She never does. So she tells him the truth, thank God the chatbox messed up her reply, so he didn't see her post.
Take Eight: She couldn't take it anymore. Just wanted things to be like they were before. Not the pissy Ruby-chan, not the bitchy Song, not the Oniichan that new everything about her. Everone else might see them as super close never fighting awesome friends, but even the closest nakama have problems. Everyone does in one point of life. So she went to him, and in her sweetest naive innocent voice, she said "'Ne ne Oniichan, tell me about that girl you like!'", because she knew it wasn't Vivian anymore. She cracked. She called him 'Oniichan'.
