The Valkyrie

The Valkyrie

A Poem by Ghost47

The words filled with feelings
The eyes showing her thousands stories
The smile hiding millions of her pain
Yet a little funny, little stupid escaping from the dark reality
Trapping herself in the rhythmic drops of dismay
Every moment the void which was created remained unfilled; empty
She washed herself in the river of tears and pain
The angel inside her approached the moon with the flaming fire
Her horse was prepared against the dawn of battle
Thorns and snares were on her forward path
Strength and honour was her garment
Her wings spread upon her universe
She perished with victory in the land she called her own

Love the line “Strength and honor was her garment”

Honestly, this is a very well written poem that has strong intent. Kudos.
