My lovely town

My lovely town

A Poem by Ghost47
"

Uh.... Enjoy

"
The tree tops sway so gently
Ever just a bit
Green leaves greet eachother
As they follow the wind's retreat

People fill the city
Just a few miles down
They smile and greet eachother
Oh my lovely town

Stray dogs fill the street
Like pebbles near the sea
Birds glide above
Refined as they can be

The people happily follow
A king of great renown
A part of GNH country
Oh my lovely town

I hear the pigeons singing
The trees whisper a song
The dogs barking loudly
Seem to sing along

I hear the people singing
Tears inhibit my eyes
I look back one last time
And say a soft goodbye
