Just a representation of what God has done

Once upon a shattered life, I dreamt of what should’ve become.
My mind lost in a world of despair and sorrow
Dead to the emotions I held inside
Thinking suicide was the only way out of the pain in my heart and soul.
In a world of darkness, I was blinded by anger,
And when the world seemed to be collapsing all around me, one man saved me
Jesus came and took my pain, anger sorrow, and despair
Gave me a new life, a new heart and light to see in this world of darkness
Never again to return to what was, and what could’ve become without him
